Steve Barsh

Steve leads the PackLate team driving the vision, strategy, and execution to deliver great travel deals in a fun and exciting marketplace. Steve has owned vacation rental property in Park City, Utah for over 10 years. As he was graduating from the University of Michigan with a BS in Computer Science, Steve founded SECA, Inc., a software and consulting company which he sold to MCI seven years later. Steve has lead a software anti-piracy company in Israel and an Internet company focusing on the baby boomer space. In 2008 Steve camped out with First Round Capital and in 2009 became a partner in DreamIt Ventures, a pre-seed venture firm. Steve teaches part time at The Wharton School and is a co-founder of The Stop ALD Foundation, a medical research foundation focused on Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).

Rob Di Marco

Rob has spent the last decade guiding fast growing technology teams serving as an interim CTO/VP of Engineering for a range of start-up and small companies. Prior to this position, he was the VP of Technology for Health Market Science, responsible for defining the technology vision for HMS and then turning the vision into reality. Before that, he worked as the Software Development Group Manager for The Adrenaline Group, a software development consultancy based in Washington, D.C. Rob graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in Physics and Chemistry. In addition, Rob serves on the board of directors for the ARC of Montgomery County, specifically advising them on technology and loves swimming, running and biking.

Steve Caron

Steve has more than 16 years as a hospitality technology and business development leader, helping grow and sell numerous businesses. Steve was most recently the President of VRGateway, the largest online marketplace for vacation rentals that was sold to VacationRoost where he filled the role of CTO and VP of Business Development. Prior to VRGateway / VacationRoost, he co-founded Sterling Resorts, which markets lodging accommodations along the Florida panhandle. As CTO/Partner he led development and marketing for the management of 2,000 vacation rental properties. He headed up e-commerce, managed reservations and revenue, and led all technology initiatives. Steve formerly was CIO/CTO of ResortQuest International (NYSE:RZT). He was responsible for the supervision and operation of contact center technology, networking, web development and data center operations as well as overseeing the operations of First Resorts Software Company. Steve managed technology operations for all 52-resort operations across the continental US, Hawaii and Canada. Steve began his career as an officer with the United States Air Force specializing in special operations and navigation. He received a Bachelor’s in Computer and Information Sciences from Florida State University.

Jonathan Tran

Jonathan is an all-around problem solver and developer who has been building web apps since 1999. He earned 2 bachelors degrees from Carnegie Mellon and has a passion for functional programming, life hacking, and snowboarding.

Peter D’Orsi

Peter has more than a decade of experience designing user interfaces and developing creative strategies for online startups. During that time he has founded/co-founded numerous small companies that include web hosting, mobile game development and web applications. He is an avid video gamer, technophile and Pug owner. Peter attended Syracuse University earning a Bachelor’s in Computer Design focused on sculpture and video game animation.

Stephen Daimler

Stephen is responsible for customer acquisition. Prior to PackLate, Stephen co-founded a yacht charter travel website. He was also a member of the investor relations team at Comcast and, before that, he performed project finance and M&A at Toll Brothers. Stephen is a graduate of The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and studied Commerce and Finance. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, eating, and snowboarding.

Dan Mahon

Dan brings a broad skill set with past experience ranging from snowboard instruction to IT technical support. Most recently prior to PackLate he came from KPMG where he served as an associate in the IT Advisory practice. Dan is a graduate of James Madison University where he studied Computer Information Systems and Finance and was the recipient of the Zane Showker Award for Entrepreneurship in 2008. He loves traveling, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and Boston sports.
